Highly recommend ***** Wonderful hosts Quirky (in the best way) accommodation Scrumptious food Beautiful location What’s not to love?!
Above what we could have expected. The most amazing place and welcome. We felt at ease from the get go, with a fantastic intro to the property. Emanuela’s tip to relax by the fire in the deck chairs to watch the stars was a winner. Total digital detox surrounded by nature and a large glass of red - heaven. And considering we were glamping, the cleanliness was 10/10. This place is top class and very much recommended.
We had a lovely evening here, stopping off from London, en route to Northumberland. They were such great hosts and that pizza and glass of wine by the fire will not be forgotten! Top tips were given on the nearby walks. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a glamming experience and something a bit different!
Kind and nice hosts. Good choice of off grid stay. Highly recommended Ema’s meat platter. Overall 11 out of 10 haha.
What a gorgeous cottage! clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for a perfect stay! Emanuela kept in touch with everything we needed to know before the stay. There's a few little cafes very close and a shop 2 minutes walk away! We couldn't have asked for anything more! (The Bridge Street Cottage - Brough)
Crackpot cottage is the perfect place to unwind! Emanuela and Karen were great hosts. We really enjoyed the walk the recommended and the games in the room was a great touch. Pizza was delicious and you have to give the bruschetta a try (one of the best we’ve ever had).
What a fabulous place to relax and unwind! The location is spectacular and a great base to explore this stunning part of North Yorkshire. We particularly liked relaxing by the fire pit whilst enjoying the delicious homemade pizzas. The hosts, Karen and Emanuela were incredibly welcoming. All in all a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend to others.
A lovely clean cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. We had everything we needed and would definitely visit again. (The Bridge Street Cottage - Brough)
Crackpot Cottage is in a beautiful setting. Emma and Karen are great hosts - they gave us great tips which helped us plan our walks. The breakfast is simply marvellous. Most of the food is locally sourced. One couldn’t have expected a better stay in the Yorkshire Dales!!
Beautiful cottage with sunny terrace overlooking a bubbling stream. We explored days out to the North Pennines with stunning waterfalls, the Lake District, Hadrian’s Wall, and Britain’s highest pub in North Yorkshire wilderness. We will be back! (The Bridge Street Cottage - Brough)
