Absolutely loved staying here for a night, but I really wish I’d booked more. The hosts were welcoming, knowledgeable and absolutely faultless. We had dinner at the property and it was homemade which was a lovely touch, alongside homemade tomato sauce with the fries! We absolutely loved our stay away, thank you both

The Byre at Crackpot Cottage is quite simply glorious. The description prepared us for the off-grid experience, but what Emanuela has created here with the fire pit for the Byre, the eco friendly outside bathroom and the cosy fire - set in the most impressive countryside with curlew calls to wake you in the morning and great home-cooked food available to order- 10/10!

The barn at Crackpot Cottage was the perfect glamping experience. The hosts were very friendly and proactive in helping us to find the location and ensuring that we had everything that we needed. The barn itself is lovely and cozy with a beautiful outdoor space. We had some homemade pizzas which were reasonably priced and delicious.

Beautiful place and a really special evening spent here by the fire pit. Karen and Ema were brilliant hosts, definitely recommend the pizza. Thanks again.

We absolutely loved our stay in the barn. The location and views are stunning and we thought it was a really lovely touch to have a designated private garden area for us to use during our stay - we had breakfast outside in the sunshine which was delightful :) Everything was as described and was thoughtfully set up to have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were grateful for the absence of WiFi so we could really switch off and enjoy each others company :) Emma and Karen are lovely, friendly hosts, and were really helpful with directions and local recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, we are very keen to return when we are next in the area :)

Emanuela and Karen were wonderful hosts. The byre was so homely and cosy and in such a beautiful location. We had everything we needed for our short stay. The pizzas were brilliant and their hospitality was second to none. Check in was super easy we felt right at home. Thank you both for a lovely stay☺️

Karen and Emma were amazing hosts who went above and beyond during our stay. The cabin was amazing and had everything that you needed. Karen suggested a walk to go on, which we did and it had a beautiful view.

Thank you so much for our amazing stay, the homemade breakfast is a great way to start the day, and the homemade pizza is an even better way to end it! The cabin was so cosy and Karen and Emanuela were absolutely fantastic hosts, they couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
